استراتژیهای پاسخگوئی به بخش Writing در تافل (TOEFL)
موسسه برگزار کننده امتحان تافل (TOEFL) یا Educational Testing Service) ETS) هر سال دفترچه راهنمایی منتشر میکند و در آن در مورد نحوه برگزاری امتحان تافل (TOEFL) و قسمتهای مختلف آن توضیح میدهد. در بخش Writing این دفترچه، 185 موضوع انشاء ذکر شده است و در روز امتحان، یکی از این 185 موضوع بطور تصادفی برای شما انتخاب میشود و باید در مدت 30 دقیقه در مورد آن انشاء بنویسید. در تافل (TOEFL)، کمترین امتیازی که برای انشاء در نظر گرفته میشود صفر و بیشترین امتیاز 6 میباشد که با نمره قسمت Structure ترکیب میگردد و نمره کلی Structure/Writing را میسازد. در قسمت Writing، شما میتوانید یا انشاء خود را توسط کامپیوتر تایپ نمایید و یا اینکه آنرا بر روی کاغذ بنویسید و انتخاب آن با شماست. اگر انشاء را در کامپیوتر تایپ کنید، پس از حدودا دو هفته نمره انشاء و نمره کل امتحانتان توسط موسسه ETS پست میشود اما اگر انشاء را بر روی کاغذ بنویسید، این زمان به پنج هفته افزایش می یابد. اگر تصمیم به تایپ نمودن انشاء خود توسط کامپیوتر گرفتید، هرگز تا قبل از تکمیل شدن انشاء، بر روی Next و Answer Confirm کلیک نکنید چرا که دیگر امکان بازگشت وجود نخواهد داشت.

قدم اول : هر آنچه که به ذهنتان میرسد را بنویسید (brainstorming)
سه تا پنج دقیقه اول را به این امر اختصاص دهید که هر آنچه در رابطه با موضوع انشاء به ذهنتان میرسد را بر روی کاغذ بنویسید. به موضوع انشاء از زوایای مختلف نگاه کنید تا مطالب بیشتری به ذهنتان خطور نماید. توجه داشته باشید که شما باید از دید خودتان به قضیه نگاه کنید نه اینکه دیگران چه نظری ممکن است داشته باشند. برای هر ایده ای که به ذهنتان میرسد، دلیل و مثال هم پیدا کنید. بهترین انشاء ها آنهائی هستند که ایده ها را با دلیل و مثال بیان می کنند. هر آنچه که خود شخصا تجربه کرده اید یا در یک جامعه دیده اید و فکر میکنید که به موضوع ربط دارد را به عنوان دلیل و مثال ذکر کنید. برای موضوع فوق، موارد زیر به ذهن میرسند:

پس از این مرحله، آنچه را که بر روی کاغذ نوشته اید به ترتیب درجه اهمیت مرتب نمائید. ایده هائی که برجسته هستند و برای آنها میتوانید دلایل و مثالهای کافی ذکر نمائید را در اولویت قرار دهید و آنهائی که ربطی به موضوع ندارند را حذف کنید. همچنین ایده هائی که مشابه هستند را در یکدیگر ادغام نمائید. یکی از مشخصه های ایده برجسته و خوب آن است که به موضوع انشاء ربط داشته باشد و شما بتوانید در مورد آن حداقل یک پاراگراف بنویسید. این ایده باید توسط دلایل و مثال هائی که می آورید پشتیبانی شود. حالت استاندارد این است که شما در مورد هر ایده یک پاراگراف بنویسید. بعنوان مثال، اگر می خواهید بدنه انشاء شما از سه پاراگراف تشکیل شود، سه ایده اصلی باید داشته باشید. با اجرای این نکات در مورد مرحله قبل، به نتایج زیر میرسیم:

در قسمت مقدمه، موضوع انشاء را باید مجددا بیان نمائید. از تکرار کلمه به کلمه موضوع انشاء در مقدمه پرهیز نمائید. شما باید موضوع انشاء را با کلماتی که مربوط به خودتان است بیان نمائید. این امر نشان میدهد که شما چقدر در استفاده از لغات انگلیسی مهارت دارید. پس از آن باید نظر خود را در رابطه با موضوع بگوئید. سپس باید بطور خیلی خلاصه دلایلی را که از نظر شما پشتیبانی میکنند، بیان نمائید. این دلایل همان ایده هائی هستند که در قسمت قبل (قدم اول) به ذهنتان رسیده و دسته بندی کرده اید. قسمت مقدمه نباید از یک پاراگراف بیشتر باشد. بر طبق آنچه که گفته شد، مقدمه موضوع فوق را به شکل زیر میتوان نوشت:

همانطور که ملاحظه میگردد، نویسنده علاوه بر اینکه موضوع انشاء را با کلمات خودش بیان نموده است، نظرش را اعلام کرده و بطور خلاصه دلایل خود را بیان نموده است.
پس از نوشتن مقدمه، نوبت به بدنه (body) انشاء میرسد. در قسمت بدنه انشاء باید حرف و نظر خود را به کرسی بنشانید. معمولا این قسمت از سه یا چهار پاراگراف تشکیل میشود. هر پاراگراف یک موضوع اصلی دارد که در جمله اول آن باید بیان شود. این جمله یکی از همان ایده هائی است که در قسمت قبل (قدم اول) به ذهنتان رسیده و در مقدمه هم خلاصه ای از آنرا بیان کرده اید. پس از اینکه ایده اصلی هر پاراگراف را در جمله اول آن پاراگراف ذکر نمودید، باید توسط دلایل و مثال هائی که ذکر میکنید، آن ایده را پشتیبانی نمائید و برای خواننده مطلب را باز و روشن کنید. معمولا هر پاراگراف در قسمت بدنه یک انشاء استاندارد، از چهار یا پنج جمله تشکیل میشود. بر طبق آنچه که گفته شد، بدنه موضوع فوق را به شکل زیر میتوان نوشت:

First of all, the environment is now in a dangerous condition in comparison with art. During the centuries, art has made a lot of progress but the environment, especially the nature, has fallen into decline. So, progress in art and environment has certainly been in contrast to each other. One is on the top and the other is on the bottom. It is time that we must stop and pay more attention to our environment.
Secondly, who can imagine a life without environment? It is very clear that with no environment there would not be any art. At least, for having satisfactory art results we must have suitable conditions. Suitable conditions are those that make us feel better such as a nice weather, a quiet place or a beautiful nature. If these conditions exist, then we can expect to have professional artists in every field.
Thirdly, in my point of view, art is nothing more than an inspiration from our environment. In a bad environment, such as our current environment, we cannot expect very strong inspiration from the nature, so our art products are not very good. I think that art quality was better a hundred years ago than our current art. In those days, artists had the opportunity to learn from a good atmosphere but now this is not the case. |
همانطور که ملاحظه میگردد، سه ایده اصلی داشتیم که برای هر کدام یک پاراگراف نوشتیم.
پاراگراف آخر یک انشاء به نتیجه گیری (Conclusion) اختصاص دارد. جمله اول پاراگراف نتیجه گیری، باید نظر شما در مورد موضوع انشاء باشد. شما نظر خود را قبلا در قسمت مقدمه بیان نمودید ولی اینبار با کلمات دیگر باید آنرا بیان کنید. هرگز آنچه را که در مقدمه گفته اید بصورت کلمه به کلمه در این قسمت تکرار نکنید. شما باید نشان دهید که توانائی استفاده از لغات مختلف را دارید. جملات بعدی خلاصه ای از ایده هائی هستند که در پاراگرافهای قسمت بدنه انشاء به آنها پرداخته اید و در حقیقت جملات اول پاراگرافهای بدنه انشاء هستند. در این قسمت هم باید سعی کنید جملات اول پاراگرافهای بدنه انشاء را با کلمات دیگری بیان کنید و از تکرار کلمه به کلمه آنها جدا خوداری نمائید. هر گز در قسمت نتیجه گیری ایده جدیدی مطرح نکنید چون جایش اینجا نیست. یک نتیجه گیری استاندارد، از چهار یا پنج جمله تشکیل میشود. بر طبق آنچه که گفته شد، نتیجه گیری موضوع فوق را به شکل زیر میتوان نوشت:

بطور خلاصه، یک انشاء استاندارد از یک پاراگراف مقدمه، سه یا چهار پاراگراف بدنه و یک پاراگراف نتیجه گیری تشکیل میشود.
قدم سوم : بازخوانی انشاء
سه تا پنج دقیقه آخر را به بازخوانی انشاء اختصاص دهید. در این قسمت ایرادهای املائی، نشانه گذاری و گرامری را بر طرف نمائید. اگر جمله ای خیلی کوتاه است آنرا اصلاح کنید و اگر جمله ای خیلی بلند است آنرا به دو جمله تقسیم نمائید. اگر مطالب اضافه ای در بالا یا پائین صفحه انشاء نوشته اید (مانند ایده هائی که در قسمت قدم اول به ذهنتان رسیده است)، آنها را پاک کنید.
سخن آخر
1. قبل از اینکه شروع به نوشتن نمائید، مطمئن شوید که موضوع انشاء را بدرستی متوجه شده اید. این امکان هست که شما انشائی بنویسید که هیچ ربطی به موضوع نداشته باشد.
2. سعی کنید از لغاتی استفاده نمائید که از معنی درست آنها اطلاع دارید. از لغات مشکلی که در مورد معنی آنها تردید دارید پرهیز کنید. هدف مهم در یک انشاء این است که شما نظر خود را در رابطه با موضوع انشاء، بطور کاملا واضح و قابل فهم برای خواننده بیان نمائید. هدف این نیست که با استفاده از لغات مشکل او را تحت تاثیر قرار دهید.
3. سعی کنید که طول پاراگرافهای انشاء شما، یکسان باشد. معمولا در یک انشاء استاندارد، هر پاراگراف بین 4 تا 5 جمله دارد.
4. فصاحت و شیوائی متن را در انشاء خود رعایت نمایید. برای تحقق یافتن این امر، پاراگرافها باید به هم ربط داشته باشند و متنی روان و یکدست به خواننده ارائه کنند. برای مرتبط نمودن پاراگرافها به یکدیگر از کلماتی نظیر
on the other hand, however, in addition, also, secondly, firstly و ... استفاده نمائید.
5. از تکرار کردن یک مطلب با جملات مختلف پرهیز نمائید.
6. اگر انشاء خود را بر روی کاغذ مینویسید، سعی نمائید که تمیز و خوانا باشد. بهتر است بین پاراگرافها یک خط خالی باشد.
